I haven't played since the dragon festival, but that is because I'm waiting for the lag issues to be fixed before I play again. I live in California, USA, and had lag issues the whole dragon festival weekend.

I voted mior latency issues - Europe.
The game's quite playable in most cases, but I'm still having issues doing certain things. Any solo build involving enchants is a big no at the moment, as is playing a healer, because the lag is just leaving me unable to react quick enough.

Bad time to ask this.
I was experiencing no or very little lag at all the last weeks.
Noticed this post and decided to ask in guild who has lag.

I heard: "me" from several people and my indicator shot up from 64ms to way above 1.000.
I was standing in Elona Reach outpost the moment this happened.

Connected to 206.127.146.87

Asking second time, seems things got better (my indicator switches from green to orange now and then, so it's a bit unsteady).
Players are located in various European countries and one in Middle East.

When I have an update on this, I'll edit my posting.

Asked again in guild, lag is back to normal now, things are ok.

Since the latest big update i have been experiencing huge lag occasionally
But something strange about it is that after the ping jumps from like 300->10k, everything goes back to normal (the chat goes smoothly, your team attacks normally) only that you cant talk, cant use skills and cant attack.
Anyone else found this?

I'm only encountering the usual lag/rubberbanding when running IRC, IM, Windows Media Player and Opera with 25 tabs open.
My ping had a recordbreaking of 23 MS while playing on America Districts(I live in Holland) so I do believe the lag has gone, for me atleast.

I've had the same issues, my Guild Wars freezes and the only thing I can do is pressing the X button, then the ''lag'' disappears. I hope it's because of my CPU running at 60 Degrees Celsius because I really don't want to download/reinstall 3 gig + GW:EN ontop of it.

I know, it's ironic, not having lag while still having ''lag''.

Severe lag here in England for me. Latency is hardly dropping below 2,000ms since the last update.

Guess it's all part of ANets 'lets insult the English by calling them common' plan!

The major lag storm has subsided for me in northern CA. Thumbs up Anet!

Severe lag spikes with the ping inexplicably jumping up to 5k+ for seemingly no reason at all during non peak times during the day caused me a lot of frustration up until I have stopped playing recently. I had a support thread with over 25 replies and possibly every tech Anet employs too and it didnt solve the problem.

The spikes would usually not last terribly long, but as a monk they were long enough for the party to encounter difficulty or to annoy the hell out of me enough to log out and log on later. Sometimes logging on during peak hours meant longer lag periods at lower pings (but still high - 1k+). Forget about major event weekends.

Inexplicably though, there would also be long spells sometimes where I'd get no lag at all or minor spikes only (those were annoying too - rubberbanding or running in one direction, freezing and suddenly teleporting or running 180 degrees from what I was). I know its not my connection because everything else I do is fine.

I have not checked recently (a week or two). Got too annoyed with it, but it sounds as though possibly it was addressed for some areas, which is a good thing.

I'm in the US on the East Coast.

Some minor lag issues (occasional rubberband or skill lock lag). Nothing that makes the game unplayable (though a lil annoying at times) but worse than it was before the Frankfurt issue started.

I had very severe lag problems today repeatedly my ping would shoot to around 40,000-60,000 with very large pauses (20 seconds to a minute) eventually after doing 2 quests I gave up

This was around 11-12am Europe (England)

Hmmm no lag here anymore. I had some major lag when going to Shing Jea Monestary, but I guess that was just because the event was there.... But it only happened twice or so, and it wasn't as if I couldn't play anymore.

Lag was unbearable in Sunspear sactuary (american d1) earlier today. Also had some problems this afternoon with rubberbanding, though my ping displayed was low, framerate was high enough not to be my system. I have an ok computer, and dont normally experience lag in two person teams in explorable areas.
